This is a fun and colourful hat that is perfect for using up small amounts of scrap yarn. It is a fast and easy project, suitable for beginners. The pattern is written for a fitted version and a slouchy/baggy version. The hat is knitted in the round from the brim to the crown with ribbed brim and body and crown in stockinette stitch.

Notes on sizing:
The pattern is written for 3 sizes, Child, Woman and Man. The sizes will fit an average head size. For a larger than average head, go up to the next size. For a big headed man, add 10-20 stitches.

The recommended yarn weight is DK or light worsted (200-250 m per 100 g). You will need approx. 25 (30, 35) m of each colour for the fitted version and 30 (35, 40) m of each colour for the slouchy version.
