Using trendy Super Chunky Yarn, also known as Bulky Yarn, this blanket will knit up fast.

The triangle pattern is especially designed for bulky yarn, where very few stitches are needed in the pattern repeat.
This blanket is completely reversible, which means it looks just as beautiful on both sides.

Size: about 27” or 68 cm square

Amounts and instructions are for a square blanket, big enough for swaddling and the car seat or stroller.

It is very easy to make the blanket larger or smaller, by adding or subtracting stitches in multiples of 8.
I used Stylecraft Special Super Chunky, but there are many other yarns suitable, see Materials.

Circular needles 10 mm or US 15 at least 80 cm or 32 “ long
2 DPN’s 8 mm or US 11 for the I-cord border

Each lot of 8 sts will make the blanket just under 10 cm or 4” larger or smaller. Note that you will need to adjust yarn amounts accordingly.
