Playing Blocks
Playing Blocks is an easy-going sleeveless that can play along with any other garments that you have.
It’s an easy knitting project to start the beautiful summer.
CONSTRUCTION
It is a chart-based pattern that includes schematics and detailed instructions. Front and back pieces are knitted flat, bottom up, and sewn together to complete.
Overall construction is easy, but there might be some intricate techniques for complete beginners to try(such as tubular cast on and short rows etc).
If you are planning to print this pattern, please use the highest quality setting of your printer. There are a lot of words, charts, and schematics…^_^
SIZE
This pattern is one size(M), but it includes simple size guidance to adjust the garment to fit your size.
You can modify the size of the bust, armhole, and length of the body following the instruction in the pattern.
Sample size(M) : Bust circumference 90cm, armhole circumference 44cm, body length (including ribbing) 23cm, total length 45cm.
Model’s bust circumference is 88cm.
YARN
DK weight yarn
180g(approx. 363m) of the main color yarn, and 15g(approx. 30m) of the contrasting color for the icord cast off.
Used Yarn : Linen Lamie Cotton DK by Daruma.
Main color is color no.3 and contrasting color is color no. 4.
NEEDLES
2.75mm, 3.75mm needle
GAUGE
22.5sts X 32rows (10cm X 10cm) after washing and blocking.
Stockinette, 3.75mm needle
