Playing Card Templates
These are the templates I use for Tunisian Crocheting playing cards. I suspect that they could also be used with knitting (but I suspect that more length would be needed on each card - I don’t knit, myself), I’m not sure how standard crochet would work with this pattern.
When done with Tunisian crochet, the cards do come out the right shape due to each stitch being slightly taller than wide. I suspect that it doesn’t really matter what yarn and hook size you use.
I am using these for a throw made up of each card in the deck (no jokers here though, sorry!).
The sample images of a hanging decoration are from my prototypes; I made an Ace of each suit, crocheted them together, added a base and lid, stuffed, and hung it up in a classroom at the school where I work and run a Bridge club.
