I designed this sweater to work for a girl or a boy. Directions are included for the buttonhole for both boy and girl.

To knit this sweater you will start at the neck and knit towards the bottom of the sweater. When you have finished and bound off the bottom edge, you will then pick up stitches around the neck for the neckband.

The front band is knit while you are knitting the sweater.

The sweater is knit in one piece, so the only seams to stitch will be the sleeve seams.

-One 3/4” button is needed for the closure.
-Stitch markers are needed.
-Worsted weight (#4) yarn is needed in 300 -370 yards.

The stitch pattern is short and easy, therefore there isn’t a chart.
