This piece was requested as a commission. She simply stated she loves rats and poppies. My initial thought process led me to the wizard of oz and the natural medicinal use of poppy as a sleep aid. And I have to say, if I was a rat, I would love to curl up on a poppy and take a nap in the sunshine on a summer day. Thus, “Peaceful Poppy” was born!

This tapestry can be made at any gauge, but I used 3.5mm hook and acrylic yarn from my stash:)
