Pleated panels put a jaunty spin on this long-line summer scarf. They’re worked simply from a pattern of garter stitch ribbed with alternating knit and purl one-stitch columns. A row of bobbles embellishes the main pattern, knit in banded stockinette and garter stitch punctuated with eyelet rows. The scarf, knit in the reds, gold, green and blue of Taiyo colorway #72, is worked in two pieces and joined at the center with Kitchener stitch.
