My grandmother gave me a pair of elbow-length navy blue silk gloves when I was in high school. Though I found few occasions to wear them, putting them on always made me feel rather elegant---a feeling I have tried to capture here in this knitted version. I used a silky-smooth bamboo yarn and a pleated pattern that feels nice around the hands and layers perfectly under any coat.
