Description:
Made from 100% wool felting yarn, these slippers are warm and stylish, the best of both worlds. Perfect for the knitting woman with style and flair!
I consider this an advanced beginner to intermediate level knitting pattern, which is then felted to give extra shape and strength. The whole shoe is knit in a simple garter stitch, and done seamlessly from the bottom-up. The more complicated techniques include short-rows, simple cabling and knitting in the round. Very detailed instructions throughout, including many high definition photos to take you step by step throughout the knitting process. If you’ve never done any felting before, don’t be intimidated. It’s very easy, and quite forgiving, and the pattern will tell you all the details you’ll need to know.
Also available are video tutorials for the following techniques found within the pattern:
Buttonhole
Cable Cast-On
Short-Rows
