Pleated skirt

This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This is a one piece knitted skirt - knitted from one side to the other and sewn together.
I have used a total of 8 skeins - 2 of each colour.
It is very easy to knit - and the finishing is where the pleats come forward….. and the tricky part is the fitting - and it is closed with both buttons and a ribbon around the hips (yes, this is all about the hips… worn on the hips!) - and well, lets face it, knitted skirts often get a bit loose around waist/hips - therefore both buttons/zipper and a ribbon, which can be invisible - under the pleated stripes!
