Meaning “plough” in Scots, Pleuch is a simple but fun cowl pattern designed to show off any yarn to its best! The cowl features two textured garter stitch columns running up the sides of the cowl. The cowl decreases towards the top edge for a close fitting finish. Perfect for keeping you cosy and keeping the wind out. Combine with the matching hat and fingerless mitts to stay cosy all around!

The pattern is fully written instructions and also includes a photo tutorial for a super stretchy cast on called the Estonian Cast-On for the bottom of the glove and the backward loop cast-on. The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern, and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos.
