PLIA
This quick knit cowl was created to have multiple personalities. It can be worn as a rolled or folded cowl (something like the stand-up cowl neck you might see on a sweater), or pulled out and slouchy, ready to pull up over you face when needed. Instructions are included to create a doubled sided button fastener, which requires one medium-sized and one large-sized decorative buttons. Similar to the idea of a cufflink, one button is small enough to just pop through the knit stitches. No buttonholes required. The fastener can be used to hold the cowl in a desired shape, or it can just be used as an accent. Plus, the fabric of the cowl is pretty on both sides, so you can reverse it to create even more looks. You can even wear this cowl as a snood. Instructions are provided for either working the cowl in the round, or knitting it flat and finishing with a seam.
