Plied Glass Cowl
The inspirations for this Tunisian crochet cowl are stained glass windows and the dizzying array of bobbin colors produced by Plied Yarns. The cowl is worked in the round using Lily Chin’s Tunisian crochet colorwork technique that brings either the forward pass or pull-through/return pass color to the front by changing the stitch used. This colorwork method results in no floats or carries on the ‘wrong side’ of the fabric. In addition to regular sized skeins, Plied Yarns sells yarn bobbins that contain approximately 30yds per bobbin. As pictured, this cowl used eight Plied North Ave yarn bobbins in colors: A-Lady Day, B-The Bunk, C-Lemon Slick, D-Redline, E-Poe, F-Vacants to Value, G-City Link, and H-Lake Trout.
