Plot Twist
Do you love a story with a surprising plot twist? Many times books and movies move us through a story where we think we know how it is going to end, and then boom! The story abruptly changes and there is a surprise ending.
My Plot Twist shawl starts with one stitch pattern and then adds on another stitch pattern on each row, adding an interesting texture to one edge of the shawl.
Plot Twist starts with a few stitches at the bottom point and is crocheted upwards and outwards forming a right-angle triangle. Crocheted with two different stitch patterns the shawl has an interesting textured border down one edge of the shawl, with the other stitch pattern forming a simple coordinating mesh-like pattern for the rest of the shawl.
Rows are crocheted straight across with the stitch pattern change occurring at the same place for each row. Both stitch patterns are easy to memorize and you will find yourself zipping back and forth across the rows.
The yarn I chose for Plot Twist is two skeins of the luxuriously soft Illimani Yarns Sabri. Sabri is a light fingering weight yarn (437 yards/100 grams) that is 85% organic cotton and 15% baby alpaca.
This beautiful yarn comes in several very nice neutral and natural colors, and makes a soft and cozy piece that can be worn as a shawl or wrapped as a scarf and will quickly become a staple in your wardrobe.
Check out this amazing yarn at www.illimaniyarn.com, and see where you can buy this yarn in store and online.
