The Plum Berry Infinity scarf is knitted flat with the option of sewing the cast-on and bind-off ends of the scarf together with a tapestry needle to create the circular “infinity scarf” effect. It features a double moss stitch pattern, using a 4-row double moss stitch pattern. You can use any category 5 (“bulky”) weight yarn to achieve this cozy scarf! I used Bernat Roving in Plum.

YARN

  • 2 skeins of Bernat Roving in Plum (Weight: 5-Bulky | 3.5 oz. / 100 g | 119 yds / 109 m | 80% Acrylic, 20% Wool)
  • Or use yarn that can obtain gauge
  • 185 g was used for this scarf

KNITTING NEEDLES

  • 1 pair of US 10/6 mm knitting needles (or you can use a circular needle)

NOTIONS

  • 1 tapestry needle

GAUGE

  • 12 sts x 16 rows = 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) on US 10/6 mm needles

MEASUREMENTS

  • This scarf measures approximately 7.7” (19.5 cm) wide and 71” (180.3 cm) long.

  • However, you can alter the length of the scarf to how you see fit. (Please note that this may change the amount of yarn required.)
