Plum Blossoms 6" afghan square
I Japan, plum blossoms appear earlier than sakura, and are a sure sign spring is on its way. These deep purple blooms are worked separately from the background of bare boughs, and then stitched on, meaning you can add as many blooms as you wish.
Written in US crochet terms, this pattern makes a 6” square when worked with a 5mm hook and worsted-weight yarn. You can make a smaller or larger square by adjusting yarn and hook size or by working more/fewer rounds.
Written pattern only, does not include charts.
