Plum hood
Plum hood is knit in one piece from the top down in stockinette flat with short-row shaping. It is then joined to work the cowl section in the round in 1x1 rib.
Each technique is illustrated with a video. There is also a video of the whole process (with additional Russian audio comments).
Skill level
Intermediate. Judy’s Magic Cast-on, knit and purl stitches, increases, decreases, Yarn over short rows, knitting flat and in the round, Tubular Bind-off.

28 сm / 11” deep at the widest point; 47 сm / 181⁄2“ long Measurements taken in relaxed state after blocking.
Tools
Stitch marker, darning needle, two additional double pointed needles of any size.
