This is a PDF Crochet/Amigurumi Pattern for a cute alligator who is a plumber. He helps in keeping the pipes under Manhattan in the best condition. He has four accessories:

  • blue shirt with a collar (closed using functional buttons)
  • dark blue overalls with crisscrossed straps, functional buttons, three pockets and a big hole in the back to accommodate gator’s tail
  • red and blue baseball cap (with a video tutorial for the cap)
  • mini plunger which can be held in one of the pockets or in alligator’s hand You can take them off and put them on in different ways.

Plushie may look a little complicated or intimidating but pattern is written with beginners in mind, with a lot of pictures and detailed instructions of every step. I’ve also included tips and tricks that you can use in other projects (like clean color change, invisible increase, invisible decrease) so this can be a great project/pattern to improve crochet skills.

This alligator is also NOT a crocodile (he has only top teeth visible, has a round snout, not that long tail and he’s olive green instead of more saturated green).

For reference, I used 2.5 mm crochet hook and sport/dk weight yarn.

Finished size: 20cm/7.9” but it may vary depending on your yarn and hook size
