Plump Off Hat & Cowl Set

I have been looking for some quick satisfying knits to do in between projects and when Spincycle Plump came out it was the perfect yarn!

While we are having a heatwave where I am it is deep winter for many others, what could be more satisfying then two quick projects designed to keep you warm and safe from the wind with dense fabrics and close fits!

I have loved knitting with Plump and I think you will too, I am going to list the meterage per project below by individual patterns first then together at the end.

Please note both patterns are included

Hat

Beanie 1 skein 91m Plump by Spincycle Yarns
All other versions: 2 skeins Plump by Spincycle Yarns but you will not use all of the second skein you will have between 54-36m remaining depending on the size of the hat

Cowl

2 Skeins Plump by Spincycle Yarns (133m exactly was used in the sample at the denser gauge)

Hat & Cowl
You should need exactly 3 Skeins of Spincycle Plump but with gauge being variable this can be hard to Judge and you may want to purchase additional skeins.

Substituting Yarns: Any bulky weight yarn can be substituted for this as long as you reach gauge and a fabric you like. Some of the Bulky Weight yarns that I am familiar with are:

Tundra by the Fibre Co.

Quarry by Brooklyn Tweed

New One by Sesia

You will need between 91-273m of yarn for all the projects. Please note there is no buffer on this and you may want to purchase an additional skein if you are making the set.
