Plush Alligator
This fun Alligator plush toy would be a welcome gift for any child--or child at heart who happens to love ‘Gators!
Easy to knit, stitch guide included!
Yarn/Needles: You can use any size yarn in your stash for this ‘Gator, just use needles 2-3 sizes smaller than recommended so you will have a tight gauge (so the stuffing doesn’t show through the stitches). For Worsted or Bulky weight yarns you will need about 35 yards of each color.
Notions: A plastic tapestry needle for stitching the alligator together, stuffing, two buttons for eyes, a needle and thread to sew on the buttons, and scissors.
The ‘Gator in the pictures uses Lion Brand Yarn Thick & Quick (bulky yarn) in colors Grass and Wheat on size US10 needles. It is bout 18” in length when finished.
