This low sew bee takes me around 30 minutes to complete, making it a great last minute panic project for that market that’s on the horizon. This pattern will work with any yarn and appropriate hook size, but please note it will change the final size. I use this exact pattern to complete my Beechain Keychains also.

Gauge is not important for this project and you can size up or down a hook depending on your tension. If you are finding the stitches loose, size down. If you are finding them to be too tight to work, size up.

I used Bernat Blanket in Gold and Black for my project. The plush Bee looks great with safety eyes or embroidered ones and I recommend embroidery for any bee residing alongside a pet or a child under the age of four as they are a potential choking hazard.
