I designed this hat with the intention of creating something cute for preemie babies. The pattern has instructions to make this hat for preemie to toddlers. The beautiful stitch pattern uses knits, purls, and slip stitches to create a plush and supple garment that uses air as an insulator to keep the baby warm. This pattern is a must have since you can make this fast knit project in a few hours and take it with you to the baby shower or send it to the new mom. The hat uses about 100 grams of DK weight yarn for the hat and about4-5 balls of worsted weight yarn for the blanket.
