~ Hedgehog Spike and pumpkin ~

To make this toy, you need to have basic crochet skills - you have to know crochet terms and
what means a colorwork and crochet in a spiral.
This is quick no sew crochet pattern - you need only 1 hour to crochet this cute hedgehog!
The hedgehog is crocheted in one piece.

Crochet terms and abbreviations (US terms):
ch – chain
st – stitch
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
inc – increase
dec – decrease

Materials and tools used in this pattern:

yarn: 100% micro polyester; 100 g / 120 m
For the hedgehog:

• „YarnArt Dolce” # 807 (black-beige): ~ 20 g

• „Himalaya Dolphin Baby” # 80365 (sand color): ~ 5 g

• „Himalaya Dolphin Baby” # 80311 (black): ~ 1 g For the pumpkin:

• yarn „Himalaya Dolphin Baby” orange: ~ 10 g sand color: ~ 1 g

• 4 mm (size G) crochet hook;

• stuffing - polyester fiberfill (hollowfibre);

• scissors;

• yarn needle (with a blunt end);

• stitch markers (thin threads);

• plastic safety eyes 10 mm (0.39 in);

• thin white yarn for embroidering whites of the eyes;

• thin and strong orange yarn for pumpkin shaping.

The size of finished hedgehog toy is about 12 cm (4.7 in), if you use specified or similar materials and tools.
