Plush Witch Hat
This hat is crocheted using the ‘x’ single crochet stitch instead of the ‘v’ single crochet stitch like many amigurumi patterns.
Adjustments to size can easily be made by adding or subtracting rows. To add rows, keep going with the pattern. I’m sure you will catch on with what the pattern is, the repeat is pretty simple!.
Then just continue with the brim row as you would if you made the hat with the suggested number of rows. The stitch numbers at the end won’t match up any more, but as long as you keep to the pattern, the brim should end up nice and flat.
If you wish, you can dry block your hat’s brim at the end to help it lay flatter before wearing.
Since the yarn is fuzzy, stitches can be a bit harder to see. If you’re just starting out crochet you may not want to choose a black yarn, but it’s up to you! I also highly recommend using stitch markers so you can see your stitches if you need to!
I hope you enjoy this hat as much as I do!
