Plymouth by Sarah Solomon is a modern cable masterpiece featuring an allover lattice cable motif on the back, front, and sleeves. This drop shoulder, long cardigan has front pockets for chilly fingers and a deep ribbed button band. Plymouth is worked from the bottom up in pieces, starting with an optional tubular cast on and seamed.

Yarn: Hudson + West Co. Forge: aspen (natural white), 7 (8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) skeins.

Suggested Needles: Size US 8 (5.0 mm), US 5 (3.75 mm), and US 4 (3.5 mm): 32” circs.

Gauge: 16 sts and 25 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Reverse St st on larger needles.

Skills required: Cabling with (or without) a cable needle; chart reading; increasing; decreasing; picking up stitches; crochet chain.
