Hello!

For this pattern, it is essential that you use chunky yarn. The chipmunk will not turn out at all the same if you use regular worsted weight yarn, but bulky and chunky yarns will be perfect.

You will need a 5.5 mm hook, a tapestry needle, and a chunky dark and light colored yarn. For my dark yarn, I used I-love-this-chunky heathered-brown yarn, and for my light I used Baby-bee snugs and kisses Teddy yarn.

Use regular scrap yarn for the stripes.

The feet, arms, ears, and tail are sewn on, and the nose and stripes are embroidered.

Please leave a ‘Project’ of your chipmunk when you’ve finished! I would love to see it!

Enjoy!
