The Great Basin Pocket Mouse can be found in sagebrush desert and piñon-juniper woodland. Which makes the Great Basin National Park the ideal place to live for this small rodent. The pocket mouse loves to eat seeds and nuts and often makes a pinecone littered forest floor its home. This artwork was produced under the Darwin Lambert Artist in Residence Program at Great Basin National Park.
