Delightful Little chick, which incorporates a pocket to hold chocolate, money, chocolate money ha ha or a little note.

A fun alternative to a card or gift bag.

The finished chick, when worked in Scheepjes Catona yarn, will measure approximately 3” high and 3” wide. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension. The thicker the yarn the bigger your pocket pal will be. Chunky would make a larger cuddly chick.

This pattern is relatively easy to follow but does require basic crochet knowledge of single and double crochet. Full instructions are in the pattern but everything is easily learnt from Youtube if you are not 100% sure.

12g of each of two colours of yarn. Based onScheepjes Catona.

2.5mm Crochet hook
Embroidered eyes, 5mm safety eyes or 5mm beads
toy stuffing (optional)
Stitch Markers (optional you can use scraps of yarn)
Scissors
Darning needle
