Here is a small teddy bear waiting to become a friend to live in your pocket or hang around looking after your keys.

The photo shows a teddy made with yellow double knit (height 11 cm), and the key-ring teddy is made from 2 ply yarn (height 7.5 cm),
Worked as an amigurumi project, the teddy can be made in any weight of yarn, but use a hook smaller than that suggested on the ball-band.

Only a small amount of yarn is needed, so this project is an ideal way of using some of the oddments in your yarn stash.

Make several teddies in different colours and thread them together on a cord along the arms to ‘hold hands’, and you’ll have an ideal string of teddy bears for the baby’s buggy, or perhaps you could make a mobile to hang over the cot!
