Hygge (pronounced hue-guh) is a Danish word used to describe a quality of coziness, comfort and contentment. This pocket wrap is knit using worsted weight yarn on a size US11 needle making it super soft, squishy, cozy, and, well….hygge!

Stitches are cast on starting on the short edge of the wrap, then it is knit to the desired length. This makes your gauge not super critical as it will only affect the width of the wrap. As long as you have a fabric you’re happy with, you’re good to go! If you’d like to change the width of the wrap, simply adjust your cast on by a multiple of 3 stitches. Just remember, changing the width or length will change how much yarn you will need.

Finished size 20” wide x 60” long plus fringe.
