Pocketful of Sunshine
A simple slash neck sweater pattern that oozes 80’s easy style. This is a lovely simple design that requires a minimum of shaping, it has an easy fit and a soft boxy shape that works well with casual off duty moments. It has some simple but beautiful features including a happy sunny yellow pocket lining earning it the nickname ‘pocketful of sunshine’
The pattern includes four sizes up to a UK 18-20 and is suitable for a beginner who is competent with the basics of knitting, casting on, casting off, knit, purl and working stripes.
A DK weight yarn is suggested and is worked on a 4.5mm needle, the yarn used to develop the pattern is Rowan felted tweed and Rowan Summerlite DK making it a versatile style for both Summer and Autumn.
Long sleeve and short sleeve versions have been included.
