This pattern (and most the ones in this book) include charts for construction. The Pocketmouse uses leftover yarn and is a really quick knit. The instructions do assume you already know the basics of knitting and does not specify how to increase or decrease your stitches. These patterns seem to be designed to inspire an adult teaching a child to knit.
