Poema is knit from the top down and features a pretty lace pattern on the sleeves. Even thought it looks like the lace pattern is knit with cables, it is not; it is only a simple combination of YO, knit, purl, K2tog & SSK stitches.
Instructions are included for ¾ length or for full-length sleeves.

The body is worked in stockinette stitch, with 0-1” ease, and side waist shaping. Because of its top-down construction, the body is easily adjusted to various body types.

Sizes:
XS (S, M, L1, L2)(XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL) – to fit 34 (36, 38, 40, 42)(44, 48, 52, 56)” chest /to fit 86 (91, 97, 102, 107)(112, 122, 132, 142) cm chest

Yarn:
Madelinetosh DK (100% superwash merino wool)(225 yards/206 meters per skein) – 4 (4, 4 ,5, 5)(5, 6, 7, 7) skeins; or any DK or Light Worsted weight yarn.
If knitting full length sleeves, add 100 yards/90 meters to overall needed yardage needed.

Gauge:
22 sts & 28 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch on larger sized needles

Needles:
U.S. 6 (4 mm) circular 16” & 32’’ needle & DPN (if not using magic loop) use the size needles that gets gauge
U.S. 5 (3.75 mm) circular 32” needle & DPN (if not using magic loop)
U.S. 1 (2 mm) or U.S. 2 (2.5 mm) circular 32” needles

Notions:
Scrap yarn or spare needle to hold stitches
Stitch markers, Tapestry needle
