Poeta
Poeta is a seeveless tank knit in the round from the bottom up starting with an I-cord cast on. Gentle A-line shaping with positive ease at the hips and negative ease at the bust. The tank is knit flat separately from the armholes up and is joined at the shoulders with a 3 needle bind off.
The centre front panel features a centre cable flanked by diagonal borders that are created by increases and decreases that also create a gentle vee at the hem and neckline. Additional finishing touches include applied I-cord at armhole and neck edges.

Finished Measurements:
Bust 33 (35.25, 37.25, 39/ 41, 43.25, 44.75/ 47, 48.25, 50.75) inches –
84 (89.5, 94.5, 99/ 104, 110, 113.5/ 119.5, 123, 129) cm
Designed with 1 - 3 inches/ 2.5 – 7.5 cm of negative ease.
Materials:
Debbie Bliss eco baby (50 g, 136 yards/125 meters, 100% organic cotton
7 (8, 8, 9/ 9, 10, 10/ 11, 11, 12) balls
Sample is knit in size 41 colour 14006, Pea Green, with 1 inch/ 2.5 cm of negative of ease.
US size 3 3.25mm circular needle or size required to obtain gauge
US size 2 2.75mm circular needle or 2 sizes smaller than above
US size 3 3.25mm straight needles (for 3 needle bind off)
Stitch Holders or waste yarn
4 Stitch Markers
Yarn needle for seaming and sewing in ends
Gauge:
26 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch –blocked
As the gauge will change significantly during the blocking process I strongly suggest making a gauge swatch to avoid disappointment.
