Poetry mitts are a continuation of the Poetry socks motifs inspired by nature. These mitts are worked in the round, from the cuff to the fingers. The pattern includes a written description and charts.

You can use your favorite method for small-circumference knitting: DPNs, magic loops, or small-circumference circular needles. The pattern describes the knitting on small circumference circular needles.

7” (17.5 cm) / 7.5” (19 cm) hand circumference (around fingers)
0.7” (2 cm) thumb length
3.5” (9 cm) / 3.9” (10 cm) finished width
6.2” (16 cm) finished length
Measurements were taken after blocking

Gauge
28 sts * 30 rows = 4” (10 сm) in colorwork stitch in the round (after blocking) with US 3.0 (3.25 mm)

Rauma Finull 50gr/175m – 100% Norwegian wool
Maine yarn & fiber supply, Shepherd’s choice 50gr/212m – 100% wool
(for one pair of mitts you need about 25 grams of the main color and about 5 grams of each contrasting color)
