Point Judith Shawl
Point Judith Shawl is named for one of my favorite places: the fishing village of Point Judith in Rhode Island . The shawls are a celebration of handpainted yarn. Version one is shown in a short color burst handpaint and features a garter stitch start, followed by a decorated ripple pattern. Version 2 varies the appearance with a medium color change yarn and a solid contrast color start and finish. Version 3 revels in long length color change yarn by omitting the garter start; the ripple pattern begins with the first row. All shawls have a center panel which echoes the design motif.
All versions are included in the pattern.
