These legwarmers were made specifically for a ballet dancer. The cotton knit very tight makes them stiff, which is fine for ballet, but probably not fun for everyday. Also, cotton does not slip on tights, so they stay on even while dancing. Though this is still my daughter’s favorite pair, I’m not sure I would do it again in the same yarn; it is quite hard on your fingers. So unless you are planning to make this for a ballet dancer, I would recommend using a wool blend.
