No gauge. If you find yourself with a hat that is too small, just keep increasing. If it’s too big before you reach the brim, back up until it’s just right and just stop increasing. It’s worked from the tip of the hat to the brim. Shouldn’t be too hard to fit it.

Yarn used in pattern is Caron Simply Soft, but any worsted weight yarn should do fine.
