Pokeball Santa Hat
There’s so many Santa hat patterns out there, but not the one that I wanted: top down (so it’s easier to just stop when it fits you), not single crochet, ribbing that you just change color and do, not a separate piece that’s attached later.
There are variations that are easy - eyelash yarn to make it “furry”, a pompom at the end instead of a ball, make a regular Santa hat instead of a Pokemon hat.
The main part of the hat is hdc, and the ribbing is done with alternating front & back post double crochet.
I’ve only used Caron Super Soft regular and glitter, but since you can just stop increasing when it’s the size you want (or add more rows), gauge isn’t critical, so other yarns can be used.
