Inspired by the Izzy Doll, and requests I’ve seen online from the Canadian military, I wanted to make something small and portable for our peacekeepers to carry with them.

I decided on finger puppets. It seems to me that they would be be ideal for this; they don’t need stuffing, so more can be carried at once.

I decided on polar bears because, Canada. Also, who doesn’t love polar bears?

It took a bit of trial and error, but I figured out these little guys that knit up very quickly with minimal (no) sewing.
