• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch markers (a scrap of contrasting yarn)
• Pins
• Cardboard for the bottom of a mug, about 66 cm (2.4 2.4 inches)
• A piece of wire 7-8 cm (3 inches) long, 2 pieces - for a handle of the mug and a candy cane
• Adhesive tape to secure the wireframe ends
• Pliers
• Black thread for the embroidery of the eyes
