They say that opposites attract. We probably all know a case where that is true. This shawl features two sections that have lines going in opposite directions. It also has opposite colors: one light, one dark. The two sections come together to make a visually appealing design.

This shawl was designed to use two equal skeins of yarn. I often have two skeins of the same yarn, but different colors. They are either left from another project or were a limited quantity find. Whether you choose opposite colors or similar colors, hopefully you will be able to use up some of your stash to make a really beautiful shawl.

I used two hanks of Yarn Bee Authentic Hand-Dyed Merino for this project. My shawl is 60” wide across the top and 25” tall to the center point. You can use other weights of yarn, just make sure you have large enough skeins to get the size shawl you want.
