This is an adult top-down shawlette, with shaping based on Faroese style shawls. It will work to about 16-17 inches deep, and about 52-54 inches in the wingspan. Exact gauge is not important, but one should use needles that create a fabric that is not too flimsy or light. Any fingering yarn will work well.

At least 425 yards of each color will be needed.
