Polarity Fingerless Glove
Size: Fits an average sized hand, roughly 19 cm/7.5 in in circumference measured around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
Gauge: 28 st and 41 rounds per 10 cm/4 in square in stockinette worked in the round.
Yarn: 50g (204 yards, 186.5m) fingering weight yarn in wool, wool blend, or acrylic.
For best results, choose a solid coloured yarn with a slight fuzziness or “halo”.
Sample knitted in King Cole 4 ply Merino Blend. Test knitters also used and were pleased with Knit Picks Stroll and Knit Picks Palette.
Materials: 2.5 mm-2.75 mm / US size 1 ½-2 circular or double-pointed needles (depending on your gauge), 3 stitch holders, 3 stitch markers, cable needle.
Difficulty: Intermediate. Techniques include knitting in the round, provisional cast-on, three needle bind-off, and cabling.
