Polarity Socks
Inspired by the end-to-end Polarity Hat pattern, this sock knitting journey begins with a four-petal, flower toe (the compass rose). Scale a series of mountains as you climb towards the cuff.
The repetitive lace design keeps you moving in the right direction as you progress over the foot, through the gusset and flap heel shaping, and finally up the leg. Celebrate your successful travels with a little flare, pretty picots to bind off your adventure.
Featured as the Makers’ Mercantile June, 2024 Knit Box pattern
