Polder Hoodie
PATTERN STORY
The name for this unisex design is inspired by land creation techniques in The Netherlands, where I currently live. In the countryside, they build up dikes which are used to hold back the water and create usable land - the polder. The land is represented by the seed stitch body, the dike is the welt and the water is the stockinette fabric. Hoodies are definitely a year round wardrobe staple here, and my most worn type of garment.
SKILLS NEEDED
Backwards loop CO, increase, decrease, German short rows, picking up sts, seaming.
This is an intermediate pattern.
