Poldybloom Cowl
Poldybloom is a pattern for a short infinity scarf cowl with a textured stitch. Suitable for people of any gender, it is designed to showcase the texture of a single skein of handspun or commercial thick-and-thin yarn. The pattern repeat is simple and easy to memorize, making it a good beginner project or a meditative knit for the advanced knitter. It is fully reversible, with equally attractive right and wrong sizes.
Yarn
One skein of Aran-weight yarn. The sample was knit with Manos del Uruguay Clásica in Pewter, 138 yds / 100 g.
Size
30” (76 cm) circumference and 9.5” (24 cm) wide after blocking
Size listed is for one skein. Poldybloom can easily be made to any length simply by working longer before grafting the ends.
Gauge
14 stitches and 18 rows per 4” (10 cm) after blocking. Gauge is not essential so long as you are happy with the fabric you get.
