Polkadot Socks
If you always wanted to try colour-work but it looked intimidating, this project is a great introduction to it. It is stranded colorwork where you work with two colours at the same time, alternating them to create different designs (in this case polkadots). There are only three rows of dots, so not much colour-work to do.
These socks are based on my “Village Socks” (a free pattern). The only difference is that these socks have a boomerang heel. I used one ball of Garnstudio Drops Nord for each pair and used leftover yarn from my other projects for the polkadots.
If you have some variegated or multi-coloured yarn it would be great for the polkadots. I have included two charts for two different sizes, 60 and 64 stitches.
Happy knitting!
