Pollen Socks
This sweet pair of Pollen socks are a wonderful marriage between yarn, natural colour and stitch pattern. A gentle texture of 2-stitch cables compliment the slightly nubby character of the true American yarn - Flock. The afterthought heel construction makes a point to not interrupt the gradient of the yarn, which is built from the natural fleece colours. Flecks of colour are introduced from Coreopsis petals which brings all the textures together. While Flock might not be a first choice when it comes to socks, the heel and toe are reinforced by a strand of strong silk. This silk is naturally dyed in a contrasting colour to add a little marling and a little shimmer to those places needing some extra love.
