You just need to know basic stitches, how to knit in the round, pick up, and simple decrease to work on this hat.

The sample was knitted in 1 color of local cotton acrylic yarn light worsted weight (11 wpi), but feel free to use any yarn that fit the gauge. You can use variegated colors too!

I made this hat in 1 size. But you can change the yarn and needle if you want to change the hat size.
I knitted the second hat with slightly smaller yarn (12 wpi) and it already resulted in smaller hat.
